3 ways to control the light – Auk Mini

Mini's light has 1 button, with 3 control options:

  1. Tap 1x to switch between full light –> soft light –> off
  2. Hold for 5 seconds to set the light cycle.
  3. 3x-tap to switch to bloom light.

1. Tap 1x to switch between full light –> soft light –> off

Tap the light button once to switch to soft light. The soft light creates a cozy vibe, perfect for dinner parties 😊

Tap once more if you'd like to turn it off.

If you dim the light or turn it off, it will turn on again with full strength at the regular time the next day.

2. Hold for 5 seconds to set the light cycle

You'll see the light turn off and slowly dim back on, which confirms that the cycle has been changed.

The light stays on for 17.5 hours and off for 6.5 hours every day. You can set the light cycle by holding the light button for 5 seconds. The light will then gradually start to turn on 45 minutes before the set time each day.

Example: You set the light cycle at 7:00 AM. Then, the light will stay on during the day and turn off at night, before it starts dimming on from 6:15 AM the next morning. In the evening, it will start dimming at 11:00 PM and will be completely off by 11:45 PM.

Note: We apologize for the error in the paper manual stating the light is on for 16 hours (this does not account for the dimming time). We are updating this information.

3. 3x-tap to switch to bloom light

Are you growing chili or tomatoes (or other fruit-bearing plants)? If so, we recommend switching to bloom light after 5 weeks. Quickly tap the light button 3 times to activate bloom light. The light will blink red twice to confirm the change. We recommend to change the nutrient dosage for chili and tomatoes after 5 weeks as well.

When you switch to bloom light, the light will be on for 13.5 hours and off for 10.5 hours.

If you want to switch back to white light, tap the button 3 times again.

If you're unsure which light setting is active, simply unplug and reconnect the power, and it will automatically reset to white light (regular mode).
