In short:
- Keep a maximum of 2-3 tomato or chili plants in the Auk Mini at once (they grow large and need a lot of light)
- Switch to bloom light after 5 weeks
- Increase the nutrient amount to 6 pumps of both red and green nutrients after 5 weeks
Keep a maximum of 2-3 tomato or chili plants in your Auk at once
Tomato and chili plants (as well as other fruit-bearing plants) grow large and need plenty of light. Therefore, we recommend having only 2-3 plants in the Auk at a time.
We recommend checking out these articles for more growing tips (pollination, pruning, and pre-cultivation):

Switch to bloom light after 5 weeks
The Auk Mini starts in standard growing mode (white light) when you plug it in, and you can use this for the first 5 weeks.
After 5 weeks, we recommend switching to bloom light by pressing the light button quickly 3 times:
The light will blink red twice to confirm the change.
The bloom light helps your plants produce more flavorful fruit faster. When you switch to bloom light, the light will stay on for 13.5 hours a day (instead of 17.5 hours). You can reset the light cycle to adjust the time the light turns on each day – learn more about how to do that.
Increase the red nutrients after 5 weeks
For the first 5 weeks: Use 6 pumps of green nutrients and 3 pumps of red nutrients per full tank.
After 5 weeks: Use 6 pumps of both green and red nutrients.
This information is also printed on the nutrient bottles.
